Hi all,
Lots has been happening here over the last few days!
SIA Close Protection Course
Our current SIA Close Protection delegates are preparing for their final assessments and all is going well. They are busy working away on their portfolios and are really working hard, despite being at the end of a long road.
Partnership with Waltham Forest Council
We have partnered with Waltham Forest Council to provide our SIA Door Supervision and SIA CCTV delegates with additional FREE employability skills such as literacy and numeracy. We can also introduce our delegates to funded ESOL courses if they need to improve their English language skills to improve their chances of finding employment. This partnership reinforces our commitment to producing the most employable SIA operatives in the UK and doing our bit to raise the standards within the security industry while also supporting our training school clients.
Level 4 BTEC in Security and Risk Management
We are currently finalising our new BTEC Level 4 in Security and Risk Management. This course is designed for current security personnel who have been in post for some time and are looking for their next professional step. It is also suitable for ex-military and ex-Police personnel who are leaving their service and want to become credible management candidates for civilian security posts.
Traditionally, security is somewhat removed from the core operations of a business and this creates a professional 'ceiling' that security professionals have been struggling to overcome. Our Level 4 in Security and Risk Management addresses the skills deficit that this situation highlights by teaching how security relates to the operational needs of a business and brings the security professional into the heart of a commercial organisation.
We are gathering interest now in this course - email rich@symbiosec.co.uk if you are interested.
